In the heart of Nepal, surrounded by the majestic Himalayas and lush landscapes, Tusa celebrates the treasures of this beautiful country. Our name, Tusa, translates to “New Beginning”, representing our mission to introduce, create, and promote the unique ingredients that Nepal has to offer.
At Tusa, we respect the inherent worth of every ingredient, appreciating the sentimental, humane, and cultural bonds associated to each item that comes from our suppliers or is harvested from our landscapes and forests. Mother Nature has provided us with an abundance of uncommon and unexplored ingredients, tucked away in our walkways and wild landscapes. We set out on a quest to reinvent Nepalese cuisine, starting with the wild morel mushroom that is harvested from the isolated Humla Region and continuing with the Dale Chuk (sea buckthorn), wild freshwater eel, Yak dairy products, Mustang Apple, Jumla Marsi Rice, and numerous more locally hunted gems.
